Universities and Clinical Hospitals
The First People’s Hospital of Hangzhou, Affiliated with the Westlake University School of Medicine
The First People’s Hospital of Hangzhou, affiliated with the Westlake University School of Medicine, is developing a clinical translation platform for BCI and neuromodulation to address needs in neurological diagnosis, treatment, and functional restoration. It advances the clinical validation, rehabilitation use, and system-level deployment of BCI technologies. Drawing on its strengths in functional neurosurgery, neuromodulation, rehabilitation medicine, and multidisciplinary care, the hospital conducts neurological assessment, clinical intervention, and translational rehabilitation research for post-stroke motor and language impairment, neurodegenerative diseases, aphasia, and communication disorders.
The First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine
The First Affiliated Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, has extensive clinical experience in epilepsy care, EEG processing, and closed-loop neuromodulation, with a longstanding focus on precise diagnosis, functional assessment, and treatment optimization for neurological diseases.
Drawing on its strengths in neurology, neurosurgery, EEG monitoring, neuroimaging, and multidisciplinary care, the hospital conducts neuromodulation therapy, EEG post-processing, and clinical validation for major neurological conditions, including epilepsy, movement disorders, and disorders of consciousness. These efforts provide critical support for the Center’s clinical research and translation of BCI and neuromodulation technologies.
Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University
Beijing Tiantan Hospital, Capital Medical University, contributes its expertise in neurosurgery, functional neurosurgery, and neurological care to research on functional neurological disorders, neuromodulation, and clinical BCI applications. To advance the clinical translation of intelligent BCI chip systems, the Center and the hospital collaborate on clinical use cases, patient-needs assessment, neural signal recording, and validation of therapeutic interventions.
